Colby Pope - Psychotherapy
I am a fully qualified, UKCP and EATA registered psychotherapist with several years experience. I offer in-depth psychotherapy both in-person and online so that you can gain insights, heal and live your life to the full. I work with individuals, couples and groups.
We all know life can sometimes feel difficult, confusing or even overwhelming. Events and experiences from our past may mean we get stuck in patterns of thinking, behaviour or relationships which do not serve us well.
I work with clients, drawing on Transactional Analysis (a long established, proven and effective therapeutic approach), to bring new awareness about how and why clients feel, think and act the way they do. My aim is to work with clients so they no longer feel weighed-down by past or present experiences and instead, can create the future, the relationships and the success they wish to achieve for themselves.
Areas of expertise include:
Anxiety
Depression and low moods
Stress and feeling overwhelmed
Neurodiversity
Feeling stuck
LGBTQ+ issues
Sex and sexuality
Trauma
Work related issues
Feeling different
Loneliness
Low self-esteem or confidence
Relationships
Individuals, couples or group work
I offer a safe, respectful and ethical environment to discover feelings and explore thoughts; helping you to discover a deeper awareness and the support and techniques required to move forward in life.
My focus is on building a supportive therapeutic relationship that will enable us discover and process together with curiosity, compassion, empathy and kindness.
